Our Client, international organization with offices in major financial jurisdictions in Europe, leader in providing corporate services to world’s most respected companies, is currently looking for appropriate Candidates for the position of: Business Unit Manager Accounting. Place of work: Luxembourg.

Scope of duties:


As Business Unit Manager Accounting, you have the opportunity to co-manage a team of passionate and talented trust and corporate services professionals. You are responsible for realising your team’s targets and ambitions, while overseeing the daily management of financial and administrative client affairs and supporting the team members towards positive results.


As Business Unit Manager Accountin, you play a critical role in the success of business. Your typical day will see you working on a wide range of diverse and varied tasks, including:

  • Preparing and realising the team’s commercial business plan and annual budgets together with the rest of the team’s management
  • Reviewing financial statements, tax declarations and various reports prepared by the team
  • Monitoring and ensuring timely follow-up of the transactions and activities of your team’s clients
  • Actively participating in risk and compliance management
  • Taking ownership of maintaining and developing positive relationships with potential and existing clients, as well as business partners
  • Fostering a positive atmosphere and approach in the team to realise their individual goals and ambitions through appropriate training, coaching, feedback and any other development


We are looking for individuals who:

  • Hold a Bachelor or Master in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics or equivalent
  • Have at least 8-9 years of relevant working experience in international accounting, audit or trust environment. Leadership experience is mandatory
  • Are fluent in English, written and spoken. Any additional language is considered an advantage
  • Have a solid knowledge of Lux GAAP, as well as Luxembourg and international Tax Law
  • Have strong analytical skills
  • Have strong communication skills and like to work in a team
  • Are interested in commercial development and related activities
  • Want to succeed, grow, be challenged and challenge others
